Master Bath Reveal

Hi guys! The time has finally come to reveal my bathroom and I couldn’t be more excited. Not only is it wonderful to have a functioning bathroom again, I’m so happy with the way everything turned out. If you read my previous post about this bathroom, things were not going so well (check it out here if you missed it). Luckily, I could not be happier with this space.

Before I show you, let’s take a walk down memory lane and see some of the before pictures.

Hello 1988.
Carpet in the bathroom…. so gross. Also check out that mysterious grey stain between the tub and toilet.
The sink was so disgusting. It was all stained up when I moved in and no amount of Clorox could help it.
I lived with this bathroom for a year and a half and didn’t even attempt to do any “quick fixes.” I put up this shower curtain and some rugs and called it a day. I am shocked at my patience.

The bathroom took about 7 weeks to complete. The reno didn’t take that long, but I didn’t consider it finished until it was fully decorated. It seriously feels like a dream come true. Okay I can’t wait any longer to show it off, so here we go!

I wanted this space to be very bright so I used a ton of white.
I was so worried about the color of the vanity being too harsh or bright. As it turns out, it’s the perfect, soft green and exactly what I wanted.
One of my favorite views. Everything looks so fresh and clean, and I’m so happy with the marble panels in the tub. Their height makes the shower feel huge!
This mirror is everything. It really set the stage for the rest of the decor and I love how the wood pieces all tie together so well. If you follow along with my stories on Instagram or read my previous post, you saw that this was not the first light I purchased. I absolutely love it though!
This shelf. All. the. heart. eyes. It actually turned into a DIY project because it was not a true floating shelf when I bought it. My dad cut off the black metal frame that was supposed to show when it attached to the wall. It was pretty, just not the look I was going for.
I picked up this little plant picture months ago. I knew I would use it in the bathroom somewhere, but what I didn’t know was how perfectly it would fit in this space.

I’m absolutely in love. Even though I keep looking at old pictures, it’s hard to imagine how this bathroom looked before. All the construction mess, inconvenience of not having a master bathroom for weeks, and stress over design choices was SO incredibly worth it. I am extremely thankful for how it turned out and glad my dad was willing to put up with my indecisiveness on yet another project. He’s the real M.V.P.

I hope you enjoyed the final reveal and thanks so much for visiting my blog!
